Peter Clemente, a veteran broadcast journalist who worked for CityTV in Vancouver and CKPG in Prince George, B.C., died from a terminal illness on Feb. 12.

Peter Clemente, a veteran Vancouver broadcast journalist, died from an undisclosed illness on Feb. 12.

According to his obituary notice, Ross Crandall, who was professionally known as Peter Clemente, worked as news director at CKPG in Prince George, B.C., in the late ’70s and spent 25 years as a reporter at City TV in Vancouver.

According to CKPG, “Clemente saw a great number of changes in the broadcast industry, including the arrival of colour TV and portable video cameras.”
