Better Farming journalist wins two farm writing awards
ShareThisMary Baxter, a field editor with Better Farming magazine(and J-Source contributing editor) has won two Canadian Farm Writers' and Broadcasters' awards.
Baxter was awarded the Jack Cram gold award for monthly press reporting for her article "The new ethanol" as well as the Dick Beamish silver award for press feature for her piece "Women's changing role on the farm."
The awards were given out at a ceremony during the Canadian Farm Writers' Federation (CFWF) conference in Edmonton (Sept. 10-12).
