The call for entries for the 2017 Hillman Prize is now open.

According to the Prize website, “the Canadian Hillman Prize honours excellence in journalism in service of the common good.” The winner receives $5,000.

Last year’s winners include the Globe and Mail and  CBC, both for their coverage of missing and murdered Indigenous women.
