CNW launches Greenwire
ShareThisCommercial news distribution network CNW Group has launched Greenwire, a categorized feed for environmental or green news.
A new Greenwire button has been added to the main CNW site, which leads to a page that compiles all news releases related to environmental issues.
CNW senior vice-president, media relations, David Milliken said in a news release:
"The environment is an important issue right now, and the volume of news
in this area has been steadily growing. With both Earth Hour (March 28, 2009) and Earth Day (April 22) rapidly approaching in the next two months, we recognized the need to create easier access to relevant, timely news around environmental issues."
