The best feature I have ever read is the lead piece in a series on Washington, D.C.'s neglect of its mentally disabled residents - written by Katherine Boo of the Washington Post. It won the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. I find it an astounding piece of writing, especially the top leg. http://www.pulitzer.org/archives/6369 Joan Walters, Hamilton Spectator
