On April 6, 2018, a Saskatchewan junior hockey team, the Humboldt Broncos, was on its way to a playoff game when the unthinkable happened. The bus collided with a tractor-trailer. “Both vehicles were obliterated by the impact, ” the Globe and Mail reported. In total, 15 people died as a result of the collision. The grief over the loss has been felt, and reported on, across the country. Here is how some of Canada’s newspapers have reported on this tragedy.
