Kids News Network

ShareThisThis initiative of the Dutch NGO, Free Voice, sets two interlinked goals: giving kids a voice in the news media and improving the overall quality of the news media. The Kids News Network consists of child-operated journalism projects in Afghanistan, Indonesia, Peru, South Africa, Surinam and Zambia, which together attract an audience of 20 million. The news programs are broadcast variously on commercial and state television, and on the web.
