I’m pleased to announce that Gavin Adamson and Tyler Nagel are J-Source’s new education editors.

Adamson is an assistant professor at Ryerson University’s School of Journalism, in Toronto, where he specializes in digital reporting. He spent most of his career writing about business and personal finance for Bloomberg and Transcontinental Publishing. He also produced several independent broadcast TV documentaries.

Nagel is an instructor in the journalism program at SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary. The focus of his teaching is online journalism and working with students to transition traditional print journalism skills to an online context while preserving the nature, spirit, and ethics of the journalism profession.
