The Canadian Journalism Foundation is now accepting nominations for its excellence in journalism award, lifetime achievement award and new innovation award.

The excellence in journalism award recognizes both large and small media organizations that embody “exemplary journalism with a resulting impact” on their communities.

The lifetime achievement award “recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding lifetime contribution to journalism in Canada.” Last year’s winner was photojournalist Peter Bregg.

All three awards will be presented at the CJF Awards at Toronto’s Royal York hotel on June 3. Submissions can be made on the foundation’s website.
