Earlier this year, 24-year-old freelance photojournalist Adrien Veczan won the Canadian Journalism Foundation's 2010 Tom Hanson Photojournalism Award, which gave him a six-week paid internship at The Canadian Press. He covered the G20, the Queen Mom and some interesting balloon handling techniques.
