This is the The Canadian Government's website for agriculture and agri-food. The site contains policies, research, surveys, forecasts and news related to the agricultural industry, and other information mainly directed to the primary production sector and other producers. The website also has information for consumers and the rest of the public, such as trend reports, surveys, health and nutrition, agri-foods and the environment, and international issues related to agriculture.

Canadian Organic Growers are "promoting organic growing in order to build healthy local communities and ecosystems." The website is an education resource and a networking organization that represent farmers, gardeners and consumers in Canada. The organization has its own publication; "The Canadian Organic Grower," but also offer online "organic news" from newspapers, journals, Statistics Canada etc. The site offers information about what it means to eat and grow organic food, and provides links to other agricultural organizations, educational institutions and museums with an agricultural focus.

Statistics Canada creates and releases statistics that can help people to a better understanding of Canada and its population, resources, economy and culture. The site has information about the census, and material organized in summary tables, maps, surveys and charts. The Daily is a section of the website which presents information about new releases and products, and is released every day at 8.30 a.m. There is also an "understanding statistics" section which can be helpful in understanding the material and information available on the site.
