Exchange rates
The Bank of Canada 10-year Currency Converter enables you to see the exchange rate for any currency for a selected time period (a maximum of 10 years ago). The site converts any amount of any currency, and you can choose if you want to use the currency rate from the last business day, a certain number of past business days or from a certain start date to an end date. It gives you the option of using the nominal rate or the cash rate (the total amount you would pay if you went to a bank to convert the money, as most banks add 4% for this service).

Who speaks for a website?
Online communities often operate as a news medium, rather than a traditionally staffed news publication. Other news reports about these sites, to be fully accurate, should reflect that fact by citing the individual author of information found on the site, rather than just the site itself.
