May 4 - May 6

THE 2018 CNFC CONFERENCE WILL TAKE PLACE MAY 4 TO 6 AT VICTORIA UNIVERSITY IN TORONTO, ONTARIO.
We are pleased to announce that Kamal Al-Solaylee, journalist and author of Intolerable: A Memoir of Extremes and Brown: What Being Brown in the World Today Means (To Everyone), will be this year’s keynote speaker.

Dinty M. Moore, editor of Brevity magazine and an author and teacher specializing in memoir and creative nonfiction, will also be offering a master class as well as a workshop.

The popular in-conversation session will feature a dynamic interview between award-winning Indigenous writer and teacher Lee Maracle and acclaimed Toronto Star journalist and author Tanya Talaga.

Stay tuned for more programming and other conference details as they get confirmed. Registration will open in early winter 2018.
