To mark Right to Know Day, the Canadian Association of Journalists’ Ottawa chapter and iPolitics are hosting a Q & A with Information Commissioner Caroline Maynard to discuss the federal access-to-information system.
Commissioner Maynard has been in charge of handling ATIA investigations and promoting transparency across federal departments since March. Learn about the state of freedom of information in Canada.
We’ll touch on everything from the Information Commissioner’s priorities to Bill C-58 and take questions from the audience.
