Applications are open for the 2022 Media Girlfriends student scholarships
Applications are open for the 2022 Media Girlfriends College or University Scholarship, a program launched in 2020 to encourage and support women and non-binary students pursuing media-related majors.
One scholarship of $10,000 will be awarded to a high school student entering a post-secondary school while the second will be given to a student who is already enrolled within an eligible program. The recipients will also have the opportunity to meet with members of the Media Girlfriends network.
This year, Media Girlfriends is also offering a new scholarship for Indigenous high school, college, or university students of any gender.
Judging will begin in May, and winners of the two will be chosen and announced in June.
