Thirteen staff in press, advertising and editorial were laid off at Continental Newspapers’ Kelowna Daily Courier and Penticton Herald between March 20 and April 2, 2020, says the union.

Updated Oct. 22: All of those layoffs are now permanent, following the Aug. 31 closure of the Kelowna press hall, which also resulted in the layoffs of 6 press workers and 24 mailers/inserters.
