Memo: Regina Leader-Post mailroom facilities to close, inserting operations to cease
The following memo was sent to Regina Leader-Post staff on Nov. 22, 2016.
Effective January 14, 2017, inserting operations at the Regina Leader-Post will cease and the mailroom facilities will be closed.
Postmedia representatives communicated this organizational change to mailroom employees earlier today.
After the closure, inserting and final packaging of all Regina Leader-Post products and inserts will be done in our Saskatoon operation.
We deeply regret the impact to staff – this was not an easy decision to make, but it was necessary.
We recognize that many of you will have questions about how other processes may be impacted. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
If you have any questions of an immediate nature, please speak to your local department leader or local Human Resources representative.
