As of April 1, Kamloops This Week moved to once per week print distribution. Seven staff have been laid off, including one from editorial, of a staff of 33, says the union.

Aberdeen Publishing confirmed on March 24, 2022, that the suspension of the Friday print edition is a permanent change.
