Capturing the Pulse of a City
From displacement of mom-and-pop stores to redevelopment … to multigenerational families living under one roof … to the mystery of the Baklava Man, urban writer Chris Cheung has stood out for his shoe-leather reporting and ability to capture the underbelly of Vancouver with engaging, smart reads. Come join us as we sit down with Chris to chat about some of his favourite stories from the past year, his methods for coming up with original story ideas and his advice to young journalists for breaking into the industry.
