DATE TBD: An evening with NPR’s Korva Coleman

September 1, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Korva Coleman

DATE TBD in FALL 2020

You look to Poynter to inspire responsible journalism. You rely on NPR to bring you the news and information to navigate your world. And Korva Coleman is your guide through the news of the day. In a world that’s often loud and bipartisan, Coleman writes, produces and delivers national news with a calm authenticity that listeners value.

Korva Coleman will share her experiences as a journalist and woman of color from more than 30 years at NPR.

The conversation will be moderated by Kelly McBride, Poynter’s senior vice president and the chair of the Craig Newmark Center for Ethics and Leadership. Throughout the conversation, McBride and Coleman will explore the journalistic disciplines of trust, transparency, standards, voice and diversity.
