FOI Friday is back! Join the Canadian Association of Journalists’ Ottawa chapter to learn how to improve your use of the federal Access to Information Act.
This session will focus on negotiating with ATIP officers and complaint investigators.
Kirsten Smith is one of Ottawa’s most knowledgeable ATIP sleuths, digging up information for journalists, lawyers and private companies. Her freelance practice comes after decades working as a news librarian in the parliamentary bureau of the Postmedia newspaper chain.
This free session is open to the public. Bring a tidy lunch. The event will be live-streamed on the CAJ’s Facebook page.
