Many dream of writing a book, but getting from that first idea to the launch party can seem like an arduous – and mysterious – process. At this lunchtime panel, get the inside info from two journalists who are published authors, as well as an editor for Canada’s largest publishing house.

Featuring:

Author of Chop Suey Nation: The Legion Cafe and Other Stories from Canada’s Chinese Restaurants
Haley Cullingham, senior editor at Penguin Random House Canada, acquiring non-fiction and fiction for Strange Light, McClelland & Stewart, and Hazlit
Karma Brown, novelist and freelance journalist.
Author of Recipe for a Perfect Wife, Come Away With Me, The Choices We Make, and more.

Moderator: Professor Joyce Smith, Ryerson School of Journalism.

This is a free event hosted by the Ryerson Journalism Research Centre. All are welcome.
