Join our free, virtual-workshop to learn the basics of investigative reporting with TVO journalist Marsha McLeod.

Learn the basics of investigative reporting with TVO journalist Marsha McLeod.

This workshop will teach skills and ideas you can use in your own school newspaper!

All students and teachers are welcome. No prior experience required.

Marsha McLeod is an investigative reporter based in Kingston, Ontario. She’s covered criminal justice, healthcare, and inequality on both sides of the U.S.-Canada border, writing features for publications like The Globe and Mail and The Atlantic, as well as for local outlets. Marsha has a Master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where she was a fellow at the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism. She’s currently a staff writer at TVO.org, where she covers eastern Ontario, and a fellow at the Center on Media, Crime and Justice at John Jay College in New York City. She graduated from Oakville Trafalgar High School in 2011.
