MagNet is North America’s largest gathering of magazine media stakeholders. With than 14 sessions and keynotes, panel discussions, awards and networking receptions attracting 600+ people from across Canada and beyond, MagNet is the place to be to build your skills and grow your business.
Magazines Canada would like to acknowledge that MagNet and the Arts & Literary Magazines Summit is held on the land that is the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, Haudenosauneega, and Anishinabewaki Nations, and the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation.
This territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. This territory is also covered by the Toronto Purchase. Today, Toronto is home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island.
As MagNet 2020 is taking place in homes across Canada, Magazines Canada would like to recognize that this land is home to many Indigenous peoples and we encourage you to take this opportunity to learn more about the peoples on whose land you reside.
