MISINFO 101 with Teresa Wright

The third session in the CAJ’s national Misinfo 101 series is led by Holland College’s Teresa Wright. This event is intended for post-secondary students living in P.E.I.
This two-hour workshop will cover a variety of practical tools for fact-checking and verification, as well as some of the ethical considerations when reporting on misinformation. This session will be offered online only due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Teresa Wright is a freelance journalist and journalism instructor at Holland College in P.E.I. Teresa has been a working journalist for 15 years, most recently as part of the parliamentary bureau of The Canadian Press in Ottawa. Prior to this, she was the chief political reporter for The Guardian newspaper in Charlottetown.
