Canadian Association of Journalists president Brent Jolly is presenting the CAJ’s views on how press freedom in Canada is being challenged. Recent use of injunctions and police enforcement to control media access to protest sites, restrictions on access to information related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and efforts to define journalism and impose regulations on the profession, are just a few recent challenges.
