The latest Social Media Weekend at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism attempted to shine a light on the latest trends, new tools and recent developments, while looking toward the future of media in general and social media in particular.
The sold-out event, its third year now behind it, brought more than 500 media professionals, academics and developers together for three days of updates from big names such as Facebook and Twitter as well as numerous startups.
