2022 CJF Awards open for applications
The Canadian Journalism Foundation has opened submissions for its 2022 awards program, which includes the new $5,000 CJF Bursary for BIPOC Student Journalists and a fourth placement in its CJF Black Journalism Fellowships program, which will be run in partnership with the Investigative Journalism Bureau.
Last year, the foundation added to its programming the CJF Award for Climate Solutions Reporting and the CJF-Facebook Journalism Project Digital News Innovation Award, each worth $10,000.
Submissions for the full list of awards, including its CJF Jackman Award for Excellence in Journalism, CJF Lifetime Achievement Award, The Landsberg Award, CJF-CBC Indigenous Journalism Fellowships and the Tom Hanson Photojournalism Award, are due Jan. 14, 2022.
