Canadian journalism at its best: A round-up of the J-Source Newsperson Award nominees
You nominated 28 newspersons from across the country – from both the mainstream media and community news alike. While our panel of judges review the nominations to decide on this year’s winner, Rhiannon Russell and Belinda Alzner have rounded up the stories, coverage and impact that was given as reason for each nomination in a highlight reel of Canadian journalism in 2011.
We called for nominees and you answered, giving us a list of 28 journalists from across the country that you deemed worthy of the J-Source Canadian Newsperson of the Year award.
