As the editors write, “Innovation also applies to journalism.” Augmented reality, they say, is a new way to enjoy the magazine.
Here’s how it works: When certain pages of the magazine – a Sidney Crosby feature and one about moose – are viewed through the camera on your computer or your smartphone, 3-D audio and visual content is instantly accessible. Or, in the words of Maclean’s, the pages “literally come to life.”
