Dan Rowe is J-Source’s new book review editor
Dan Rowe, coordinator of Humber College’s Bachelor of Journalism program and former Quill & Quire news editor, takes over the book review section.
By Bruce Gillespie, Editor-in-Chief
I’m pleased to welcome Dan Rowe as J-Source’s new book review editor.
Rowe is the coordinator of Humber College’s Bachelor of Journalism program, in Toronto. His research interests include political communication and news coverage of climate change and the oil sands. Rowe is also a former news editor of Quill & Quire, so we feel very fortunate to have him on board, looking after our book reviews.
Our goal with this section is to review new trade and academic books about journalism in Canada or by Canadian journalists. If you’d like to suggest a title for review, or if you’d like to volunteer to write a review, please get in touch with Rowe.
Finally, I’d like to thank Rowe’s predecessor, David Spencer, a professor in Western University’s journalism program in London, Ont., for his many contributions to the site over the years.
