Karen Ho had been awarded the SAJA-Knowledge@Wharton Scholarship.
The scholarship program is designed to enhance the quality of minority business journalism and covers the winner’s tuition fees to attend the Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists at the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. The scholarship is a collaboration between the South Asian Journalists Association and the Wharton School.
Ho is a broadcast associate at BNN and a freelance writer based in Toronto, according to her LinkedIn profile. She was previously a business reporter at the now-defunct YourMississaugaBiz.com.
