Entries for the Mindset award and its French equivalent, En-Tête, are open until Feb. 14.
Presented by the Canadian Journalism Forum on Violence and Trauma, the awards recognize excellence in workplace mental health reporting from media organizations or individual journalists in any medium.
The English and French awards, decided by separate juries, will be presented at the Canadian Association of Journalists’ awards gala May 30 and the gala of la Fédération professionnelle des journalistes du Québec on May 2, respectively.
Each award comes with a $1,000 prize. The judges may choose to give runner-up prizes of $250 each.
