A five-month paid training opportunity for emerging BIPOC storytellers will be hosted by CBC Manitoba starting Dec. 1.
CBC Manitoba Pathways is open to up to three candidates interested in pursuing careers in journalism and will include access to mentorship and opportunities to cover local stories.
The program, which will be conducted with a mix of online and in-person attendance at the public broadcaster’s Winnipeg newsroom, will pay approximately $29 per hour.
No formal journalism training is required to apply.
