The Canadian Journalism Foundation has announced the two winners of its expanded Aboriginal Journalism Fellowship.

Wawmeesh G. Nikki Wiart, a producer with Global News Edmonton, will be reporting on the effects the foster care system has on Aboriginal children.

Both winners will be presented awards at the 2015 Canadian Journalism Foundation Awards gala on June 3 in Toronto.
