Corus Entertainment has revamped the lineup at Winnipeg’s 680 CJOB, with a new morning show.
The station’s news director, Richard Cloutier, and Kathy Kennedy are the new hosts Winnipeg Morning News, which launched on June 2. The pair replaced popular host Hal Anderson, whom the station let go in May, according to the Winnipeg Sun.
The Winnipeg Free Press reported Anderson was paid out of his five-year contract, which was due to end in September. Anderson was one of the three people let go in recent restructuring by CJOB.
The station told the Free Press the staffing changes were not affected by ratings.
