Kelowna Capital News cut its Friday print edition on March 26, 2020 and announced it would only publish a Wednesday edition. Some of its employees were also temporarily laid off.

The paper, which is owned by Black Press Media, has confirmed that the change to weekly publication is permanent, now publishing its print edition on Thursdays.
