Torstar announced April 16 it was closing three Toronto community newspapers: Beach-East York Neighbourhood Voice; Bloor West-Parkdale Neighbourhood Voice; and York-City Centre Neighbourhood Voice. A spokesperson says that no layoffs are associated with the closures due to the centralization of operations.
