Digital Publishing Awards launched
A new award program will honour excellence at Canadian digital publications.
The Digital Publishing Awards will launch in 2016. There will be 15 different award categories, including tablet and web design and development, news coverage, feature writing, video production and more.
“Digital publishing in Canada is robust and exciting, and now there will be a truly national and not-for-profit awards program and publicity campaign to support its achievements,” said Craig Silverman, the editor of BuzzFeed Canada who is also on the Digital Publishing Awards steering committee, in a news release.
The new awards program will be produced by the National Magazine Awards Foundation.
