Former Maisonneuve editor-in-chief Drew Nelles will join The Walrus as its senior editor in November.
Nelles tweeted that he was moving to Toronto to join the The Walrus, which celebrated its 10th anniversary last month. He initially planned to move to New York City following his resignation last month from Maisonneuve after three years at the helm of the award-winning magazine.
“I start in November and I’m replacing Rachel Giese, who just left the position to become deputy editor at The Grid,” Nelles told J-Source in an email.
