Finalists of inaugural Digital Publishing Awards announced
First ever awards will be handed out Jun. 9 in Toronto.

The finalists of the inaugural Digital Publishing Awards were announced May 4.
The new award program launched by the National Magazine Awards Foundation in Nov. 2015 promotes, “excellence in the content and creation of Canadian digital publications through an annual program of awards and national publicity efforts.”
There are 66 finalists from 21 different publications. Maclean’s leads all the finalists with 11 nominations, followed by the Globe and Mail with 10 and the Toronto Star with eight.
The awards will be handed out on Jun. 9 in Toronto.
