Global Maritimes and Global Montreal morning news programs will air weekdays from 6-9am beginning January 28.
The Global Maritimes Morning News program will be aired out of Halifax and hosted by Paul Brothers, Crystal Garrett and Jill Chappell at the station's brand new home downtown on Gottingen Street.
The Global Montreal Morning News program will be hosted by Richard Dagenais, with co-host Camille Ross and weather specialist Jessica Laventure.
As Steve Faguy reports for the Montreal Gazette, the launch of these two shows completes a CRTC-mandated promise that Shaw made to run morning shows in six markets when it bought Global TV in 2010.
