Global wins two CMA Media Awards for Health Reporting
The awards, presented by the Canadian Medical Association, honour outstanding Canadian journalism that enhances understanding of health, the health-care system and the role of health professionals.

Global News led at the Media Awards for Health Reporting, picking up two awards.
Crystal Goomansingh and Kathlene Calahan won the excellence in health reporting television award, while Carmen Chai and Patrick Cain received the excellence in local media health reporting award for print and broadcast journalism.
