RTDNA Canada announced the winners of its 2018 awards in Toronto during its annual conference last weekend.

Top honours in three categories went to CBC Indigenous, which took home two awards for innovation and one for investigative journalism.

Best podcast was awarded to the CBC team behind Finding Cleo, hosted by Connie Walker.

Executive vice president of Corus Entertainment Inc. Troy Reeb was presented with a lifetime achievement recognition.

The Charlie Edwards Award for excellence in television breaking news reporting went to the team at Global BC for their Lower Mainland Windstorm reporting.
