The Economist is holding a parliamentary-style debate on the internet and how its affecting journalism. The motion: This house believes that the internet is making journalism better, not worse.

The debate closes tomorrow, with statements from the speaker and moderator, and a winner will be announced Friday. To date, the "yes, the internet is making journalism better" side is winning with more than 70 per cent of the vote.
