The Jack Webster Foundation, which recognizes excellence in B.C. journalism, has launched its 2012 awards to recognize achievements in B.C. broadcast, print and multimedia journalism. Categories include:

Multimedia

Commentator of the year

News (one each for print, radio and TV)

Feature (print, radio and TV)

Science, technology, health and environment

Legal journalism

Business, industry and economics

Chinese language

 

Submissions must have been aired or published between Jun 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012. Deadline for entries is June 30, 2012.
