Lindsey Wiebe will be joining Maclean’s magazine’s digital team in the new year as the associate web editor of macleans.ca in Toronto and told J-Source in an email that she is "totally thrilled about it."
Wiebe was most recently the social media reporter and a weekend online editor for the Winnipeg Free Press until the newspaper’s most recent layoffs in September, which saw seven newsroom jobs cut.
An unofficial welcome to @lindseywiebe who joins our digital team in January. We can't wait.

And, yes: TO-bound. Pumped for the job, excited for the move, and sorry for how mushy I'm bound to get upon leaving this terrific city.

Correction: A previous version of this article identified Wiebe's previous position as an online editor of the Free Press. Wiebe contacted J-Source to clarify her position as social media reporter and a weekend online editor. We apologize for any confusion.
