The career shift to deputy chief of staff comes nine months after Canadaland first reported that the Toronto Sun’s provincial election coverage strategy would centre on an editorial perspective defined by taking on the Liberals. An internal memo was topped with the premise that “the past 14 years of progressive Liberal policies have undermined Ontario’s economy, electricity system and core public services and introduced unprecedented social division.”
