Molly Hayes, Katie May win Goff Penny Prize for young Canadian journalists
Hamilton Spectator’s Molly Hayes took the Goff Penny Memorial Prize for young Canadian journalists in the over 25,000 circulation class. Meanwhile Katie May won the prize for the second year in a row in the 25,000 and under class.

Meanwhile Katie May won the prize for the second year in a row in the 25,000 and under class. She reported for the Lethbridge Herald and recently joined the Winnipeg Free Press.
The award honours outstanding work published in daily newspapers by young Canadian journalists aged 20 to 25.
