Omar Sachedina joins CTV parliamentary bureau
Omar Sachedina is the latest addition to the CTV parliamentary bureau. The Ottawa bureau was short a correspondent after Roger Smith, a fixture at the parliamentary bureau for nearly two decades, retired on March 15.

Omar Sachedina is the latest addition to the CTV parliamentary bureau. He tweeted the announcement last week.

The Ottawa bureau was short a correspondent after Roger Smith, a fixture at the parliamentary bureau for nearly two decades, retired on March 15. Sachedina joined CTV National News as a correspondent in September 2009, according to his bio. Previously he worked as a reporter-anchor at Toronto’s CP24 channel.
